Electroless Nickel

We offer RoHS compliant electroless nickel plating systems including:
Electroless Nickel with Boron Nitride
Electroless Nickel Teflon (EN & PTFE)
High Phosphorous Electroless Nickel (>10%)
Medium Phosphorous Electroless Nickel (6-9%) 

The two most common plating specifications we can certify to process are MIL-C-26074 and ASTM B733. These specifications are seen in applications throughout various industries such as aerospace and military.

Aluminum Anodize Type II and Type III

Type II Anodizing as denoted by  MIL-A-8625F Ammendment 1, Type 2 Class 1 (Clear) and Class 2 (Dyed)   

Type III Anodizing as denoted by Mil Spec MIL-A-8625F Ammendment 1 Type 3 Class 1 (clear) and Class 2 (color) for Hardcoat Anodize on Aluminum. 

Boron Nitride Electroless Nickel

Boron Nitride Electroless Nickel (BNEN) plating provides a composite deposition of Electroless Nickel and Boron Nitride particles. This plating is  ideal for parts that require both hardness as well as lubricity. Deposit Benefits include exceptionally low coefficient of friction, superior release and excellent wear resistance. BNEN can be coated to thicknesses ranging from .00005-.002 inches. Unlike EN-PTFE, EN- Boron Nitride deposits can be heat treated to attain maximum hardness for very severe wear applications. US Plating and Surface Finishing can plate Boron Nitride  with Electroless Nickel onto Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Stainless Steel and Steel. 

MattE and Bright Acid Tin

 ​We provide Bright Acid Tin and Matte Tin Plating in conformance with specifications: AMS 2408, ASTM B545, and Mil-T-10727 Type I (electrodeposited).​

Chem Film Conversion Coating

Aluminum chromate conversion coatings to  

MIL-DTL-5541, AMS2473H, ASTM B449-93 (2015) specifications.  Aluminum chromate conversion coatings improve the corrosion resistance of wrought, heat treatable and cast aluminum alloys and provide a base for painting or powder coating services.  

Passivation of stainless steel

 Passivation of stainless steel is a process performed to make a surface more corrosion resistant. We provide passivation of stainless steel per Mil Spec QQ-P-35 and ASTM A967 and SAE AMS 2700E specifications.

PHOSPHATE: ZINC AND MANGANESE

 Certification to process for manganese phosphate to MIL-DTL-16232 Type M, Class 4 (black) phosphate and to SAE AMS 2480H.

sulfamate nickel

 We certify to process for AMS QQ-N-290

Solder plate

 Tin Lead Solder Plate or solder deposit is a  functional finishes with a dull luster that can have a slightly mottled appearance.  US Plating & Surface Finishing certifies to process for tin lead plating for specifications ASTM B579 and AMS P 8172B.

Zinc

  We provide Zinc electroplating per ASTM B633:  Electrodeposited coatings of Zinc

These include

  • Type II Zinc with hexavalent chromate (yellow and  olive drab and black)
  • Type III Zinc with trivalent chromate (clear or irridescent and RoHS compliant)
